Tags and Hyperlinks

1. Meta Tags

Search engines look for keywords in the code of the website. The Title, Description and Keywords are specific for each page.

2. Alt Tags

Simple descriptive sentences that are placed on the pictures and images of your website giving an understanding of what the image or picture is.

3. Header Tags

Used as a headline that indicates to a search engine what is most important to the page.

4. Hyperlinks

The act of taking any words, information or pictures and enabling someone to click on word, image or page and travel to another section of the website, thus navigating more efficiently.
